Hi, I'm Allyn. My roots stretch back to the Central Coast since ’89, drawn here by my pursuit of a career in radio within the confines of San Luis Obispo. Much like yourself, I've developed a profound affection for SLO.

My journey with technology commenced in the vibrant era of the 60s. I happened to be that youngster perpetually summoned by teachers to navigate the intricate A/V equipment. Those were the analog days filled with delight—radios, turntables, reel-to-reels, and cassette recorders galore. As I traversed high school, an intriguing 4-channel micro band television facility adorned the district office. Engaging in courses encompassing TV production, computer programming, and operations unwittingly set the stage for my future in IT Consulting. Graduation marked the emergence of microcomputers in their nascent stage. My initiation into the realm of computing began with a Radio Shack model 1, complete with a cassette tape drive. Throughout my extensive and diverse career, I've tinkered with mainframes, minis, micros, and presently find myself engaged in the realm of cloud computing and wearables. Witnessing the fascinating evolution of technology over the years has been a pleasure, and I've relished the opportunity to evolve alongside it.

My career's been like a rollercoaster, hopping from one industry to another, but my rock-solid companion through it all? Technology. I've been the go-to guru, conjuring up quirky fixes for my bosses. Picture this: turning analog tape into digital gold or making an AM radio broadcast in SLO sound like the hippest thing with listener-made ads! Folks from Cambria Nipomo dialed a 900 number and poured their hearts out for a whole 60 seconds. I've danced through various software like a pro — point of sale, bookkeeping, broadcast scheduling, you name it!
